As mentioned by Janey Lee Grace on 16th July 2007, at Mathew Wright's program Wright Stuff at Channel 5, Neem oil is traditionally used in India to repel mosquitoes and other insects. Research in Scotland has shown midges are repelled by the smell of Neem oil.
